The Founders have known each other for many years and during the last decade have developed a strong working relationship that has stretched across several sectors, including renewable energy, hotels, leisure, specialist supported living, food manufacturing, retail, technology and real estate.
Their first project was to finance the re-development of a 5* hotel and residential development on the south coast of England, in 2009.
Corvette was established to build on the Founders’ real estate interests, to create a sustainable source of income and to cater for demand from other investors wishing to invest alongside the Founders in similar projects.
The Founders have provided both equity and loans into more than 30 residential/commercial developments, with GDVs ranging from £5m to £150m+. Additionally, it has provided bridge finance to several trading businesses, secured against real estate assets. These loans and investments continue to generate strong returns.
Deal flow continues to be strong, delivering impressive returns over a comparatively short investment period, achieved across different price points and locations. All residential developments carefully address local housing demands with a strong ESG focus.
Corvette continues to originate attractive investment opportunities in which it deploys its own capital, alongside its JV partners. All transactions are on a deal by deal basis and we will only invest in opportunities that satisfy our strict investment criteria.
Meet the Team
Simon Gordon
Founder
Simon has worked in Capital Markets for over 30 years, advising both institutional and private clients in areas such as M&A, Asset Management, Fund Raising and Real Estate. His experience has been earned at some of the World’s leading banks, such as Hill Samuel, Credit Suisse and HSBC.
He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
Paul Bentham
Founder
Paul is a life-long entrepreneur and investor with investments across a diverse range of sectors including real estate, Fintech and retail. He has founded a number of businesses including Cardsave and RMS, both pioneering payments companies, which were sold to major corporations, creating significant shareholder value.
Paul McOmish
CFO
Paul is a highly experienced and CIMA qualified Finance Director who has acquired expertise within senior company and accounting roles, having delivered excellent results for multi-million turnover companies. An approachable individual who has a wealth of knowledge in leadership and a passion for finance, having worked throughout the profession to gain experience at all levels.
Annette Miller
Executive Assistant
Annette joined Corvette in March as Executive Assistant.
Annette brings her excellent organisational skills to Corvette, ensuring the smooth running of our business. Previously Annette worked in the not-for-profit, business services and retail sectors, so brings a wide array of experience to her role.
